
Three Arrested for Software Piracy in Rajkot: A computer job work office on Yagnik Road was raided on Friday, resulting in the arrest of three individuals on charges of software piracy.
The raid was conducted by A-Division police officials along with Prakash Igde, an employee of Perfect Anti Piracy Force Company, Mumbai. The team raided the Halda Computer Jobwork Office after Igde filed a complaint under Section 66(B) of the IT Act, Section 63 of the Copyright Act, 1957, and Section 292 of the Indian Penal Code.

The arrested individuals — Jitendra Doshi, Amit Doshi, and Parash Doshi — were accused of using pirated versions of Corel’s software. Additionally, police officials reported that indecent clippings were found on one of the seized computers.
